Hadleigh Voices Community Choir is a non-profit making mixed group of around 50 people from the Hadleigh area, who primarily enjoy singing, but also contribute that joy to raising money for local causes through performance. We have a very light-hearted approach to the music we sing, but nevertheless, are serious about continually honing our skills, and giving our best in performance.

We hold fortnightly rehearsals at the Hadleigh Old Fire Station, and employ a professional Musical Director and Accompanist for each session.

Having been established in 2011 with a grant from the Olympic Legacy and Essex Music services, we now have a thriving choir and are, first and foremost, a choir for the community.
We welcome everyone who would like to sing with us, and perform at local events such as church fairs and local community gatherings. We also aim to put on at least two concerts annually, the proceeds of which, after expenses, go to charity.

   Care Home/Singalong Group

Recent research has shown that elderly people, particularly those with dementia, respond positively to music, and with this in mind we have started a sub-group to perform, without charge, at local residential and care homes. We are supported in this by a grant from the John Laing Charitable Fund.
